The new legislation’s and how we plan to protect you
In these uncertain times and with the new guidelines and restrictions that have been put into place through the Government in order to reduce the spread of COVID-19, we wanted to reassure you that we are taking every measure possible to maintain the safety of our customers as well as undertaking work to the highest standard by following the guidelines as stated:
- Keeping a minimum of 2m apart between us and the customer.
- Washing our hands frequently, wearing gloves and disposing of them correctly.
- Wiping down all surfaces with a sanitiser and keeping a clean environment throughout any job carried out.
What if work needs to be carried out inside my home? Should any work be carried out inside the home, we will be sure to follow the protocol:
- When we book an appointment and before we visit any site, we will call to confirm prior to entering the property, whether anyone is self-isolating or in quarantine or has been in contact with anyone who has been diagnosed with COVID19 and to make sure that all procedures are followed correctly as stated above.
During this time, we have put new measures in place where we aim to reassure all customers whose homes we visit to remain inside their homes during the work that is carried out outside unless stated otherwise. We ask that the engineer is not in the same room within the house as you.
We also ask if the engineer can enter the house via the nearest exit to the area we need to work in so that they do not need to travel through your house more than is necessary.
What happens if we are under quarantine or have symptoms? If you have any symptoms no matter how mild you must let us know as soon as possible. No work would be carried out in any household who is isolating or where an individual is at risk.
